Overprint on polyethylene tubes

NadrPrinting on tubes is done with the dry offset method, ensuring its perfect quality. Our offset machine and the application of special dyes enables obtaining print in maximum six colors (not counting the color of the tube).
We perform prints exclusively in the PANTONE scale (not CMYK).
After printing, tubes are covered with matt or glossy UV varnish (also with frost-glass effect) for the purpose of increasing resistance of print to abrasion. The varnish also enhances the esthetics of the tube, and constitutes a barrier for e.g. aromatic substances and others being released from products.
We offer decoration of the tubes with the method of thermal print - hot stamping, among others in gold or silver color.
We also have facilities for serigraphic printing on the tubes.
Preparation of a graphic print design and its approval

The drawing presents the usable printing area on a tube (an opportunity for designers to display their skills!). It follows from the length of development of the cylinder constituting the side surface of the tube and the length of the tube itself. The bottom margin of the tube may not be smaller than 4 mm in view of the technology of execution of the tube. The top margin of 10 mm follows from the need for placement of photocell marker.
The marker we apply has the dimensions of 2x7 mm. Upon a specific customer request the size of the market may be altered.
The graphic design of the imprint should be developed taking account of the requirements of the dry offset technique. Our specialists and procedures warrant reconciliation of customer requirements with the requirements of the printing technology. The initial Customer’s design should be made in CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator applications.
It should be borne in mind that all graphic elements appearing in the design may not consist of more than six colors in the PANTONE scale (not CMYK).
The design should be made so that:
- the cap is at the bottom
- the proper location of the photocell marker is visible
- the barcode is placed vertically, and its parameters complaint with the standard PR PN-EN 797.
The design should be supplied on one of the following media: diskette, CDR, CD-RW, Zip or by e-mail. In case of sending a design by e-mail, the files should be compressed: zip, stuff. Text objects contained in the design, so-called fonts, should be converted to curves.
In order to “process” the model imprint proposed by the customer, we need from 1 to 10 days. After this time we forward to the customer a final design for approval.
Returned to us confirmation of the design - with approval expressed in writing, confirmed with a signature and date - will cause execution of printing matrixes.
The printing matrixes are the property of the customer and remain in our archives.
The customers bears the costs of execution of matrixes only at the first order.
Apart from overprint, we offer hot stamping. For hot stamping we use silver and golden aluminium foil. It's also possible to use foil in other colours.
In our tubes gallery you can find examples of projects realized on recently produced packages.
